Design Challenge

Overview

I recently undertook a one-day design challenge in which I was given a specific brief to solve within a limited time frame. The challenge required me to apply my design skills and expertise to create an effective and innovative solution that met the given requirements.

Throughout the challenge, I followed a structured design process, including user research, ideation, prototyping, and user testing. I collaborated with my design colleagues and received feedback on my solution, which I incorporated to improve the final outcome.

This challenge provided me with an opportunity to hone my design skills, including ideation and rapid prototyping, and showcased my ability to work under pressure and produce high-quality solutions within a short time frame.

Brief

Digital platform for fresh Graduates to find gigs and jobs

Objective: To conceptualize a digital platform that enables fresh graduates to find the right gigs or jobs and earn as per their capabilities.

Requirements: The platform should meet the following requirements:

User-friendly interface for graduates and employers
Ability for graduates to create profiles and showcase their skills and experience
Efficient search and matching system for job opportunities based on graduates' skills and experience
Easy application process for job opportunities
Secure and reliable platform that protects personal and financial information

Deliverables: The final deliverables for this design challenge should include:

A high-fidelity prototype that demonstrates the platform's functionality and user experience
A brief report outlining the design process and key design decisions made

Constraints: The design should be completed within [insert time frame], and should be feasible to implement within a reasonable budget and timeline.

- No pay Gigs for NGOs and Charities with recommendations as incentive
Market Place Section
- For Freelancers to buy/sell resources, assets, books, courses.
In-built Portfolio creation feature
- helps create a portfolio website which can be shared anywhere - which will help with the platform awareness
Neo Bank Wallet
- Acts as a neo bank to transfer pay, avoid sharing bank account details for security purposes
- Students generally don’t have a bank account at that time so a neo bank wallet helps.
- Insights into how other freelancers at that range are spending their money
Performance Management
- Showcases overview of their performance with insights.
- Keeps the user updated about general practices used by others to improve performance
Community
- Helps the user with connecting to other freelancers and stay upto date on their work field
